Troy is so smart -- he likes to think outside of the box.
In the middle of July the Ohio Campbells came to visit and we all went to the National Zoo. No one could see anything except Hallie.
There were lots of pretty lion cubs, although they are not so little anymore.
This bear was petrified with fear when the ferocious Hallie and Troy attempted to mount her.
Grant was too tuckered out after the long drive down, not much sleep, and a long morning in the son. So he took a nap in the living room while everyone else played with toys.
Near the end of July Cristy flew to Idaho to surprise her sister for her 30th birthday as well as to attend the Campbell Family Reunion.
George Poteet -- he also thinks outside the box.
They did lots of fun things before the road trip to Oregon, including attending a baby shower.
Thanks Uncle Alex. You are a great ball-roller.

Hopefully Mandy will invite us back to her home after we publish this picture of her on the Internet.
Apparently this is the beach that the movie The Goonies was filmed at. Nice.

Troy did so love the sand. We can't wait to take him to another beach!

Stonehenge Replica. Duh.
Celtics? Ninjas? What's the difference.
The group was pretty sure that Stonehenge was actually a place where families gathered for scenic cave wall paintings, as demonstrated above and below. Those ninjas -- they know how to build 'em.
At the reunion each family had a talent. The Hayden Campbells are awesome at circus performances. (We all know Tom is a great contortionist, as demonstrated by his (in)ability to wrestle George and Nathaniel on multiple occasions.)

Other Campbells were great thespians.
Back at home in CDA Grayam wanted to show off his talents -- one of which apparently is mimicry (in this case, Georgey).
Cristy visited one last friend before heading back to home to her excited husband. What a great way to end a tremendous trip!
