Together Forever

Well hello again everyone. Sorry again for the time between posts--just about every moment Cristy and I spend together is spent talking about WEDDING plans because we are getting MARRIED soon because we are ENGAGED! (Can you tell we're excited?)

The major marriage-related news lately has been that we no longer have a reception/wedding venue. That's not important though, right? We'll just do it in someone's backyard. Just kidding...no really we are hoping to do it in someone's beautiful and spacious backyard. Any takers? Mom? Grandpa John?

Besides that oppurtunity (that's what we call problems at work) we have plenty of good things happening all around. Yesterday Cristy's wedding dress came in (she has already tried it on three times) and today my father and I are going to try on our Tuxados to make sure they fit. We are going to check out some stores to register in tonight and we took some beautiful (175ish) engagement photos Monday evening by the Jefferson/FDR Memorial. (As soon as we have the web site for picture purchasing we will let you know!)

We have heard people (mainly one person) ask for pictures of the ring, and we promise to have those up very shortly (check back soon Momma Sue).

For those who don't know, Cristy and I will be flying into Spokane the Wednesday before the wedding (June 25th) and will be around for threee whole days to do nothing--I mean to hang out and organize wedding stuff. Plan to arrive early to and meet the couple-to-be!

Wo, Wo. Cristy and I have never been apart for two weeks before, and I must admit, the time has passed rather slow. We promise to post more often, but we have to be together first!

So today is my (Nathaniel) first day of blogging--neither Cristy nor myself have ever had a blog before, but she has at least been posting on blogs for...wait...she just informed me she only has two weeks experience. Oh well. So we're not the brightest crayons in the blog box yet (or as my Mom would say, "not she sharepest tacs on the board") but at least we're out there now. Out there like the morbidly obese guy going on an early Monday run and you just can't help but stare but you do anyway. That's us...here...on the blogosphere.

So what's our big news?!? No worries Mom and Dad!!! We're just talking about taxes. While Cristy managed to get a refund of $1300 (plus the $600 from the stimulus package) I managed to owe the government $1000. Mind you, for the 2007 tax year, I only made (no more than) $2000 more than she did, and at one point I actually made less than she did. So...yeah...I think that's worth blogging about, don't you?
