Question :)

What do you get when...

...you mix this brawn...
...this animalistic personality (and wardrobe) ...
...these modern dance moves...
...and this charming face...
...with this dexterity...
...these homemaking skills...
...this love of country...
...and this flavor of Alaskan justice?!?
Well, so long as you're married...(check)
You get one of these!
Well, she's not that big yet, but this is what Cristy looked like at 5 weeks, the night we found out we were pregnant!
And here is baby at 10 weeks and 5 days, one day before Cristy's birthday! We are so happy!

For All the Super Moms Everywhere

As the official family blogger, I have to say I really enjoy the picture heavy, text light blogging methodology. I think we will stick with what works.

On 18 September, Cristy and I had dinner with a high school friends of mine, Lindsey. Lindsey got married a year ago to her High School sweetheart.
As part of my mother's birthday present (6 July) Cristy and got the whole family together 26 September to run a 5K. We also made shirts that say "Robbie's 5K Walk for a Cure."
This race was the best 5K I have ever been to, even though it was the inaugural event. Here you can see the whole group stretching to some slammin' 80s music.
My Mom, front and center, sporting her sweet pink running pants (also from the 80s)
Mom and sister before the race. My Mom was pretty excited all day. I have never seen her make so many interesting faces.

As you may have guessed from the shirt, this race was supposed to be a walk for us. But, long story short, my Mom is way too motivated to walk. So we ran...and passed lots of people, even though my Mom had surgery in July and hasn't run a mile in over a year. Super Mom!
And after, she ran back onto the course to find my sister. (PS My Mom went to the Junior Olympics and still hold records a her High School!) Super Mom!
The pictures are out of order, but my Mom actually went back onto the course twice. First she RAN back to find the first group of walkers. Yes, Cristy is wearing a fanny pack (in her defense, its my Moms).
Fanny Close-Up.

My Dad wining a smooch from his daughter.
My Dad also won a medal for his age group! We were so proud of him! Represent for those 50+ Men out there.
Instead of bagels and bananas, we got free turkey subs (from Subway), bananas, cookies, and juice. In our goodie sack we got the real race shirts and Luna bars. Chocolate fudge almond. Mmmm.
Photo Op!
Our friend Nancy Antonelli is getting married tomorrow. Planing for the wedding has obviously made her crazy.
And the picture you have all been waiting for...

Men on fire, trying to set a world record for most men on fire...what?!?
