Moreira Boy's Birthday Bash

As a birthday present from my Mom and Vanessa our family took a trip out to the National Baltimore Aquarium in Maryland. We had a great little day out there. Here are some of the exciting images from the day:

Giant Dragon Turtles bigger than Troy with webbed feet.

Did you know alligators sleep underwater with their eyes open (or is it a crocodile?)

A huge sea turtle -- even bigger than the giant sting ray! Apparently this is what the bay looks like in Maryland. (It's a replica.)
The vertebrae of a whale compared to that of a human. (Envy! Envy!)
One of the many ugly fish in the sea.
A giant blue whale skeleton
Another ugly (but huge) fish in the sea. Look at those lips!
Shell fish?
Of the penguin variety.
The red fish had a prosthetic eye -- really cool looking.
Why couldn't it be called a dog fish? Dogs have whiskers too...is it because dog is man's best friend?
Happy Birthday from the Jungle!

You can't tell from this picture, but those critters do an amazing job at blending in so they can getcha when you least expect it!
Blue frog.
Yellow frog. There was also a frog named "Venomous Ugly Death Frog" or something like that. Very creative :)
The poor sawtooth shark had some of his teeth busted off. Poor guy. (Note when you have a second google image "shark teeth" and tell me you don not want to get bit by one of those guys. Crazy!)

Don't forget the jelly fish! They are so cool looking way deep in the ocean (or in a pressurized tank).

Some of the other stuff we got to see were a video of a baby dolphin that was born earlier in the morning (way more cool looking than a human birth) and all the other big sharks.

Thanks for those who came with us and for the great birthday gift :)
